Judah Ariel is a 2011 J.D. candidate at New York University School of Law, where he previously served as president of the Law Democrats and co-founded NYU Law for Obama. Prior to law school, Judah worked for Congressman Earl Blumenauer (D-Ore.) on the House International Relations and Ways & Means Committees, successfully passing legislation on global access to safe drinking water, illegal logging, and the Iraqi refugee crisis, as well as helping to negotiate the first enforceable environmental standards in a U.S. trade agreement. Judah has worked on statewide Democratic campaigns in Ohio and Massachusetts and is spending this summer working at Sidley Austin LLP, the firm where Barack and Michelle Obama met.
